This is exactly why the track was temporarily shut down. Just because you have a dirt bike does not give you reason to trespass! In the old times if we saw someone snooping around there without permission, they would have been facing the end of a 45. Yes, you saw a fence and some cow crap, but that's more an indication of your deductive reasoning abilities then what is going on with the track. It's been there since 1972 and is not going away. With proper preparations, planning, and respect from the riders, the track will reopen. KX99 is my gaurd dog and partner. With him living close by, the track will be more easily taken care of. Of course if enough people piss us off, we'll go private with it. Open only to a select few.

Now that I've vented, everything KX99 has been saying is true. We plan on widening the track and maybe adding more to it. As far as help, what we could really use is a bulldozer/heavy equipment. If you have access to any of these please let us know. If you think it's cool to own an MX track, it's not. It's really a big pain in the butt. However, it is a joy to have people come out and ride. So many track owners have to listen to all the whining prima donnas complain about the obstacles, watering, prep, etc.

Best to all, and be patient.

Dude, Eddie didn't mean any harm by his comments. All of us excited Corpus Boys were calling him since he lived in Beevilee to find out if the rumor was true. You won't find a bigger asset to your track than Eddie. He donates lots of time and work at DDMX and would do the same for you I'm sure.

Cut him some slack.....he's a good guy and you'll have a strong asset to help around the track.
