Just a quick question...If you've won the jacket in a certain class, can you run that same class the next year? Or do you have to skip a year to run that class again? If you've won the class one year, can you keep running that class as long as you don't meet the bump requirements?

As long as you don't get promoted to a higher class you can run the same class as many consecutive years as you want.

Ok, cool! For some reason I had thought that if you won the class, you got moved up automatically....guess I was wrong!LOL

We promote based on the level of competition in each class. Many series promote groups automatically, but various factors come into play (rider consistency, weather elements, attendance, etc). We outline our promotion criteria in our rulebook, however. This has been discussed in detail to members that bring up concerns to us outside of the forums (and you know this well already, Chuck).
