Anyone done some off-road riding around Sedona? Going out in December and looking for info on where to ride. Thanks

We ride the national dual sports there every year (which feature a lot of single/double track on the "A" courses), and just returned from Payson yesterday. I don't know about Sedona proper, but it's equidistant to Payson, Prescott and Crown King - all have epic riding.

Check out http://www.arizonatrailriders.org or their facebook page; their club members are very helpful.

My family went in August for a summer trip (and to attend a graduation), and found a few areas in Sedona that are available to ride. We rented a RZR from one of the local shops, but there were some really neat and gnarly trails near the main trail heads - if you need anything to supplement the great link from orangethunder, try contacting some of the shops for info!

Thanks to both of you for the info. Funny you said check with the local shops...I was thinking about that today.

It is the philosophy that we use here for local riders, so I'm hoping it would apply there - but then again, we might be the luckiest group to have so many shops and dealers that lend experience to our offroad community here. Good luck on your search!
