The main ranch at the BIG barn off Old Lake Road. We will meet at the big barn and be working the two ride areas. They are now connected by two gates in the middle of the Ranch. The ranch is much larger than it originally was. Our plan is to connect the two existing trail systems together for this up coming ride for Will Hendrix.

So meet at the McMahan I ranch as you refer to it. We have had several ride days here over the past four years.

The other ride area will be connected, hopefully, to the original ride area for this ride. George McMahan refers to this section of land as the old Synnott Place. It is sometimes referred to as the 88 acres. We had our first ride at the old Synnott place last January I believe?

Hope that makes sense?

Thanks,
-Larry

And I just want to remind everyone, it is coming up this Saturday! A lot of people have worked hard to redo all the trails and tie the two ranches together. There some all new trail, and some old sections tied together differently so it will have a whole NEW feel to it. All AMSA members are invited and any and all of Will's old riding buddies. That will include A LOT of people so be sure and tell anyone you know that is buddies with Will. And this can be a membership recruiting event for AMSA; if you are wanting to join, come out this Saturday and pay your club fee to become a member, I've heard it's just $ 15.00. The ride day or the BBQ plate would cost you more than that so come on out. I k now it will be hot but we've been riding, cutting trail, and marking and as long as yoiu're moving, not really that bad! And please send me an e-mail if you are coming, by this Wednesday night so I can be sure to have enough food. gmac11@suddenlink.net Thanks, George

George, I'm pretty sure that is not the price. I believe it is $35 for an individual and $50 for a family membership which is what I bought.

How does the membership work? $50 for the family membership, then is there a cost for the actual ride days?

Right now we have a 7 to 8 mile loop near the parking area and an additional 3 to 4 mile loop that can be included in the main loop or bypassed. Total mileage is around 11 to 12 miles.
