80 minute races

Just curious about the change from 60 to 80 minute races? Were there alot of riders not happy riding 60? Or spectators not happy?

The only one that is 80 minutes is the Pro/expert race. All other big bikes are still 60 minute

The ATV's wanted to race longer so we did change the times on the ATV's.

Why so short? I really like the terrain y'all have but most are a six to eight hour drive for me. Sure would like to ride some different areas but the drive and expense makes it prohibitive.

Torn has been set up this way since we started. We couldn't stay on time if we had longer race times. This is what makes Torn different. Our tracks and races are shorter which makes it more of a sprint race. This is also why we have Saturday and Sunday racing. You have the option of racing 1 or more classes on a weekend.
