The Post Enduro Association, host club for the Caprock Canyon Enduro is very excited to announce huge and exciting changes for the March 7-8, 2015 XCD, Mini and Enduro races.

We are moving down the road to Turkey TX, many riders know Turkey as one of the original Grand Prix race locations for West Texas, lots of great history and memories. The PEA has secured 9000 additional acres of new and beautiful land to ride. This allows us to bring a very fresh look and new set of trails for all the races. The property is absolutely amazing and we know you're going to get more than your money's worth on the ride. The move also allows the race to start much closer to the actual trail, no 13+ mile county road tours! The additional acreage brings the Post Enduro lease to 23,000 acres, a land mass larger than Manhattan New York. Go big or go home!

This years Saturday XCD race, formerly the GrandPrix race, will be a true town race. Starting Saturday, March 7 on Main Street, Turkey Texas and racing through the town, the alleys, then finding yourself in a wooded area much like east Texas, we are sure you will have a fun factor beyond belief. We are also providing a 1 mile mini enduro for the kids!

Turkey is also bringing it's heritage, history and hospitality to you as well, Come join us Saturday evening for a good old BBQ feast, $10 per plate and a free concert in the park featuring a fantastic artist, Zac Wilkerson. Zac is described as a Texas Soul Band and will bring the groove, Turkey is the home of Texas Swing and the famous Bob Wills, they really know how to celebrate life.

We are very grateful to be on the TSCEC and RMEC schedule and have worked very hard to ensure you see something very different in the race this year. Our focus and commitment is to new trails, new directions and new experiences. We cannot say enough about the city of Turkey and the efforts being made to make this a destination race. Find more information in all the normal places, PostenduroAssociation.org, TSCEC.org and contact the city manager at 806-423-1033 for camping reservations.

Remember, Respect the Gift, Ride Safe and Keep the Throttle Pinned, Phillip Bainum, President of the PEA

Sounds like a fun weekend. I can't wait.
Thank ya'll for all the hard work.
If this is as much fun as the last Turkey Grand Prix it's gonna be Awesome.
It's not very often you can get your dirt bike tapped out in top gear thru town and not get in trouble with the man.

Renegade, share some of the last time in Turkey stories. I'm really wanting to bring back that magic.

The last one i rode in Turkey was the one the day before a national enduro sometime in the 90's. There was a LeMans style shotgun start with all the bikes lined up on one side of the street and all the riders lined up on the other side of the street. They fired the gun and you had to run across the street(always fun to run in motorcycle boots)jump on your bike start it and take off. It was a fun course that had a big grass track section layed out in a field in town and also a couple of long pavement sections. I think i have some pics of all the bikes lined up for the start at home. I'll see if i can drag them up an post em.

Cowboy, still working on it, final race schedule is a little tricky in a race that will shut the town down!!.

Hey Old Timers, Moving back to Turkey is about celebrating the rich history of West Texas Racing and continuing to build a future for now and later. March 7, 2015 we are lining up any and all who would like, for a classic Pre 1990 grand prix style in town race. Bring your Penton's, Bultaco's, Honda's and what ever else and remind us of the greatness. 11:00am for the official start, for what will be an epic weekend of racing. The Turkey XCD is hosted by the Post Enduro Association. Message me for more details as needed.

I'm digging my 1975 KX250 out of the barn for this.

Trouble that's awesome, you also reminded me we are moving the vintage race to the 5:00pm slot on Saturday, decided we needed to give the old folks a little more time to get woke up! I mean to get the old bikes started.
