This next race looks like a good excuse to do some camping at Sam Houston National Forest (for some of us out-of-towners anyways). Unfortunately, national forest websites aren't too great when it comes to info. Anyone have suggestions on where to camp? Double Lake looks to be pretty close to the race property. Looking for a place for tent camping but also access to bath house / showers. Thanks for any info!

Why not camp at the race. There's folks there that enjoy the same thing as you.

Cagle is in the middle of everything. And on the lake, really nice. BUT you can't ride a non-played bike from there. Double Lake is 40 minutes away.

Thanks for the info. I wouldn't mind camping at the race. I'll shower with a beer but don't know if the better halves are willing to do that.
