I am pretty sure the CURFEW for noise which includes generators is 10pm. It is so nice trying to sleep listening to your generators all night long.
Thought one guy was being courteous and actually shutting his off at 10pm. Nope was just adding fuel for the night.
If TORN is not going to enforce the CURFEW for generators, maybe they should make separate camping areas for Noisy generators, quite generators and people with no generators

Not sure how generators would be included in the curfew as they are powering just about every motor home and camper out there.

Generators are a staple of race weekend. There are some that are OMG loud but hey it drowns out the sound of those annoying little mad bumble bee bikes. ha ha
Anywho.....find a spot off where no one can park near you.

Might be a staple but it's funny that most people stretch out a long cord to move them as far away from there camp or trailer.

Sleep is a staple on race night also. Agreed on the cord stretched out so they don't have to hear it. So Liss I park by you, run my loud ass generator all night long and you would be ok with that, because it is a Staple at the races.

yeah...now I agree on that. There are some that don't follow common courtesy. If it's loud to you it certainly is to your neighbors. Some folks will put a table on it's side to block the noise. I think there is a rule about how far you can move it away from your camp....maybe 10ft or so? I can't remember

meow..............I was just saying it was something almost everyone did I didn't say it was nice.
The first crafton race there was a generator so loud next to us that we had a friend park his truck to block it. But I didn't get mad about it.
I'm just saying if you have an issue with generators park off where no one will bother you.

You shouldnt have to isolate yourself or your camp because of uncourteous people. Never said I was mad, just making a statement that we at our camp were talking about.

Some action on the forums! Love it!

If you can afford 50k camper, a 50k truck to pull it, 3 bikes and a utv don't buy a 599.00 generator!
