Time to replace the stock tires on my 350 EXC-F.
Any suggestions for a tire, 70% road and 30% off road?

For that ratio, I like my Avon Grippers!Run on my 650, not sure about the EXC.

That is an unusual usage ratio for that bike.

not when you live in the middle of Houston and want to ride out of your garage. Good luck finding dirt.

Went on a ride yesterday up thru the forest; it was about 40 miles before the dirt. Used up the MT-21s.

Kenda K270 first choice, but if you want to go cheap then I have used a lot of Shinko 244's. I found a sale at super cycle a year ago that had 325x21 with 560x18 set - both tires as set for 65 bucks. At that price I don't care if they only last about 2000 miles.

Here are the Shinko 244's

It's not a question of where you ride the most, but where the ride is most challenging. I'm happy with MT21s on the street, because a more street-oriented tire will not stand up to hard enduro and rock climbing.
