It's been a while since I've raced an enduro, and was hoping someone could refresh my memory on how a 2 day enduro works, Specifically LTR in 2014.

I've always loved the LTR race, and the past few years I've always had a conflict. I'm hoping to try to make the one in Feb, but need a little refresher on how the weekend goes. I think the last LTR race I went to (I think back in 2002 or 2003?) was a 2 day and I believe Saturday was a gp style around a short loop, and then sunday was the actual enduro 50+/- mile? Is it still the same or different? Also are most of the races the restart style now?

Thanks.
Zach

I would expect the 2 day to have a restart format both days, with an under 50 mile race Saturday and over 50 mile race Sunday. Each day is a stand alone event with trophies and points awarded after each day.

It will likely as Lance said. We managed last year not to re-use much of the trail from Saturday and Sunday other than the trails in and out of camp. The land is a great place ride and there is a ton of fun trail out there. LTR has not had a time keeper in a while. I don't think there are any left on the circuit any more.

Gotcha. I think I heard a while back that LTR is back on its old property? If so, that was by far my favorite place to race back when I was doing the tscec circuit.

One last question, on the restart format, you pretty much cannot be early to a checkpoint/burn the check, correct? It's pretty much a fast trail ride until you get to the check in, sit and wait for you're rows time, then haul the mail until the next check?

I tried looking a lot of that up, but what I could find was the timekeeping info. I miss the good ole timekeeping days.

That's correct, you can't be too early to a test section finish. The fastest through the section wins.....

Do you still need an AMA membership?

No AMA membership required for the LTR race.
