To everybody that came out on Sunday to help with putting on Gator Bait, I personally want to thank you. This year was exceptionally tough with the last minute downpour, and instead of being able to coordinate all the workers the morning of, we instead had to remark and reroute a large portion of the course at the last minute. But we got it done and its all thanks to the members that came out (even with the muddy conditions) and executed without being told what to do. So again, thank you and I appreciate what you do for the club. We got a lot of positive responses from the racers and its all thanks to you. If you get a chance, go on the TSCEC forum and read the comments. Pat yourself on the back, because y'all did a wonderful job.

Great course, thanks everyone. And thanks Eric Pullen for pulling my truck out with the bobcat!!! I wasn't going anywhere. Muddy but great fun. I got to the end and asked the guys at the end of the 3rd test, is this it, is it over? They were like yeah, I wanted it to continue!!!

I have something to say about Brian Perret! He got involved with being the Gator Bait Enduro chairman this year to learn the art of putting on a enduro. What actually occurred and what he was faced with would overwhelm just about anyone. We had a fantastic event ready to go and ahead of schedule Saturday morning when all hell broke loose with the rain. I was using every ounce of enduro and Skull Creek knowledge to help Brian formulate a plan to continue only to have the rain continue and cause more and more doubt. We learned about every fall back option and then had to keep inventing new one's. A lesser man would have thrown in the towel early, but he trusted the decisions we were making and never lost the drive to make it happen through brute force and outstanding leadership. We had riders that drove 12 hours to get to Skull Creek and all efforts were to make the event happen. It all worked out and the riders went home with mostly positive comments, but that is enduro. Great job Brian, and thanks a million to the outstanding membership worker support.

I was at the first road crossing right out of the bean field and there were several hooping and hollering as they went by. All having fun.
