Emma Long Motorcycle Area
2-23-13, 9:00am to 2:00pm

Joint Work Day with AMSA, Central Texas Trials Assoc (CTTA) and the Austin Ridge Riders (ARR) mountain bike club.

The city has been funding trail work at over 20 of the most eroded sections at the park. This would be a great opportunity for those folks that have never ridden here or haven't ridden in a while to check out the loop and recent work, and to help with additional trail improvements.

Depending on worker turn out, we will split up into groups to tackle these items listed below.
Installing signage at the designated areas on the provided map.
Cut back overgrowth on Main Loop.
Block off secondary unapproved pathways.
Fill in muddy potholes with rock and dirt.
Packing ruts in dirt corners.
Remove baby heads from descending corners.

*If we get done with these items and need more to do, (Not likely) we will continue to cut back overgrowth on the Beginners Loop.

We expect to have loppers, shovels and other equipment, but you may want to bring your own gloves, pruning shears or other preferred tools.

We look forward to seeing you there.
