Just joined the board, and the state of Texas... San Antonio. Been wheeling for quite a while now, and it will be a real change being in Texas!! From Colorado, so I'm used to public lands, lots and lots of public lands... guess I'll have to learn to "pay to play"

Been looking around and it looks like Katemcy is about the only place nearby with terrain similar to what I'm used to. Are there any other good rockcrawling areas near San Antonio, or anywhere in Texas for that matter?

click here for some pictures of my rig. Most recent trip is the Billings Canyon trip.

Hope to see some of you on the "trails"

You will be at home at katemcy. it is a blast. You might try hooking up with Midnight fourwheelers. i think most of them are in San Antonio. Austin isnt that far and the Austin K5 group is really great bunch of guys. (dont let the name fool ya!)

I also saw Satans Playground, has anyone been there? Is it worth the drive?

I tried going to the site, but got nothing. Guess I'll have to try again later.
