Just moved back to Houston area from Northern CA and don't see that there is a 4WD club in Northwest Houston area. Specifically I live in the Cypress area.

Not sure this is the best location to post this question but basically I am looking for others in this area that would be interesting in forming a such a club. Main goal of club would be to organize group wheeling trips to various places across Texas and other wheeling states like NW, CO, and UT.

Please respond to this forum if interested.

I'm not intereested in forming another club but there is already a great club in Houston.. They are a Houston based club.. lot's of members who live or work around Cypress. President currently live in the Woodlands area (That would be me at least until June). Send an e-mail to our membership person and she would be more then happy to send you some more info.

Of course if you want to form a new club I'm quite sure there are others out there interested in joining in...

You might also check out TX4WD Club - a no cost Cyber Club with chapters that meet all around Houston.

I have a stock '98 4x4 Honda Passport but as you can imagine its not in any shape for off-roading. Wanting to get a mid-'80's military Blazer as a project truck, but until that happens I'm ready to learn the work of off-road driving and modding. Total newbie here, so if anyone is willing to put up with stupid questions I'd love to join y'all for a local ride or gab session.

PM me here and I'll get back with you ASAP. I'm in Katy and spend a lot of time in Cypress.

I'm on 290 @ Beltway 8. Been looking for mud for the past month. I enjoyed getting stuck by myself near Beltway 8 @ Hollister. It'd be fun to go out and trail ride with some real offroaders. I've got a Stock 1995 Toyota 4runner 4x4automatic
