My sons bought the no toil, did not like the texture of the oil. Maybe it captures dirt as good or better than real oil. Been riding and cleaning filters since I was 12, now 52. Used gas in the old days, now kerosene in the last 20yrs then followup with soap and warm wtr, never wring. Use box fan to dry. ALWAYS CLEAN AFTER EVERY RIDE. Change filter once a yr whether it needs it or not! Filters are cheap...

You tell em Mike. I clean my filters every time I ride. Use Simple Green then rinse. And yes I wring mine out. Just had a twin air filter come apart after 3 yrs of service. Looks like I'm going to have to spend 30 bucks.

Switched to twin air, no problems. No toil sucks. They used to be great. No more. Bad product in my resent experience.

I have never had a filter come apart after 3 1/2 years of using them. I just started using the red stuff. never going back to twin air

I have had great luck with Twin Air. There is a reason all the factories run Twin Air. I've also had great success with K&N, they now make pleated airfilters for mx bike and are super easy to clean.
