Trail Clean-up Weekend 14/15 April
Saturday:

Meet up with your group in pavilion at 9am
9-12 am - work on trails with trail bosses
12-1pm - lunch (bring your own)
1-3 pm - go back & mark sections for Gatorbait
4pm - Trail Ride around whole property
Sunday:
Finish off any sections that didn’t get done Saturday
Please bring trail cleaning equipment - loppers,machetes,saws,chain-saws,weed-eaters & 4 wheeler if you own one otherwise bring a bike for transport. If your section is relatively light & you get done quickly we have several sections of new trail which need a lot more help.
After the rain, the shrubs are sprouting & there are quite a few dead trees down.
We need all working members to show up & take care of their sections. Thanks to those who have come out over the last few weekends to get their piece done in advance because they had another commitment on work weekend.

Gatorbait Weekend 21/22
Thanks to those who have volunteered already. We are still very short of people to help on check-points & road crossings on both Saturday & Sunday. Please contact Lynn,Toby or myself if you can help.My email is skullcreek@sbcglobal.net

I will not be there on Saturday. If you are in my group please help another team. I will be out there on Sunday.

How about that. I will be there Saturday and not on Sunday. If you are on my crew and only out there Sunday then please assist John or another team.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to help clear trail. We had some very hard working groups of folk both today & yesterday. The track for Gator Bait is looking great so it promises to be a fun & challenging event.

We are still begging for a few more check point people & road guards to cover the internal road system especially on Saturday afternoon.

I learned a new trail clearing technique from Eric today, but being older, I think that I would need to be wearing some depends before trying it.

Boy! ...did I "feel it" last night and this morning! Ride'n and trail work makes for one heck of a workout! Thank you to the people who helped.

There is a lot of work yet to be done before the 2:00pm start of the race Saturday.

There will be a few of us out there Thursday night to get an early start on Fridays final clean-up and trail marking. If you can make it out Friday we can use all of the help that we can get. Also if you plan on camping the earlier the better as far as get'n an good campsite.

It looks like Skull Creek missed any major rain event with this front...currently it looks like only a trace of rain at the guage 3 miles to the east at the Colorado River.

Hope to see everyone out helping next weekend with the race.

Cheers
