Hey LTR's,

I am from San Antonio and want to take the family to Lake Mackenzie to ride motorcycles and our side-by-side, as well as fish and hike.

This place seemed like a good place.

We are in an RV with little kids.

Does anyone know enough about it to recommend it or recommend against it?

It is mostly 4 wheeler trail now, so if your looking for alot of single track this isn't the place. There is probably 50 miles of trail there. Also i think the lake level is down right now due to the drought. There are several camping areas that you can use the Rv in. I live in Lubbock and have only been there a couple of times to ride. I don't know that i would drive all the way fro SA to ride there. Just my 2 cents worth.

Lake is nearly dry. It's pretty nasty, and not really worth the long drive.
