Wow, okay. So starting a new thread wouldn't have been more prudent? Sounds like big brother stuff.

Anyway, Skull Creek was pretty wet, obviously. The creek is the highest I've ever seen and there's only one crossing that is still crossable in order to access the rest of the property, which is the one by the end of Skull Creek trail (or the beginning). But it made me cringe every time we rode across because it looks like it's ready to go at any time. Other than that, the trails have a lot of standing water in them and we got a whole bunch of fourwheelers and razors stuck in the mud bog trying to go back through for picture opportunities. Thanks for that Toby!

With the extremely limited amount of access, running a race this past weekend would have been not only logistically tough, but dangerous as well. The property's going to need some time to dry out.

TORCS race on that weekend. There are alternate (rain) dates, but it will probably be pushed further into the summer or to the second half of the season.

here are a few pics of SC from yesterday. hmmm, any takers on crossing the creek? this was part of the course.

btw, I didn't see the need to kill the thread either because the information needed was up front.

If the race was cancelled, why were there people out there on the course? Just trying to go mud bogging?

Why is double booking against a TORCS event an issue, but double booking against an Otis event not an issue (doesnt Otis run at Brunes Mill the same weekend as Gator Bait)?

Maybe the makeup date will work better if its in the "dry" summer season (if the course needs to include the creek crossing). For spring (wet) races, maybe the NW section or SE section of the property deals with moisture better. Just brainstorming.

The pics of the levee made me think TRH should hold their first annual kayak and jetski hare scramble!
