San Saba “Pecan Capital of the World” ride - January 28th & January 29th
What
An overnight destination ride for ALL riders to San Saba. Everyone is welcome!
Basic information
Arrive around 8a for breakfast at the Taqueria San Juan restaurant in Castroville.
I plan on departing from Taqueria San Juan restaurant at 9am on January 28th a full tank of gas.
Of course since that is out of the way for most of you we can meet up on the way or just form a group and make up routes from other locations and meet up in San Saba for dinner and bike talk. Although my routes are dual sport, get out that street bike and ride a pavement only route.
Bad weather may force a change in dates or cancellation. The same weekend last year we had 75-degree weather.
The routes always change as we go. Anyone is welcome to ride along with me. 4 to 6 riders in a group are optimal so depending on the turn out we may need to break up into several groups.
Tentative routes. It will change before the ride as I have received some good information since I built quickly built the routes.
