Who has a Wrong Way sign hanging on their garage wall they'd be willing to donate to the cause? I'm tired of encountering people gong the wrong way out there. I've made numerous requests to the Parks Department about posting a sign on the sign post there at the trail exit, with no responses or action taken on their part. I've also contacted City of Austin Street & Bridge who has plenty of signs laying around, but none they're willing to give up.

If someone has access to a Wrong Way sign I'll gladly handle the install part.

I agree on the wrong way/one way only signs but people will still ignore those no matter what. Some of the trails are two way so that is part of the problem. I have some connections with the parks department and the city attorney's office, let me see what I can do to address the problem.

Thanks, Dave. Much appreciated. Let me know if I can be of assistance in that effort.

There used to be a sign at both the trail entrance ("Trail Starts Here") and trail exit ("Wrong Way - Trail Starts at Other End of Parking Lot"), but it seems the Wrong Way sign has come up missing.

Found a copy of the trail map prepared by Cliff Turner for the City back in 1998. I see that last section of trail is actually shown to be two-way, as part of a small warm up loop. The main loop actually goes off to the right at that last split.

Yep, I have that one too. Much prettier, for sure. I posted the older map in my post because I originally thought one of the legs on that warm up loop on the color map should possibly be green (two way), to match the original map from 1998.

Upon closer inspection I see now that the arrow on the warm up loop is actually a directional arrow, not a "call out" arrow as I originally thought. So that loop would run clockwise in that case.

So there does seem to still be some confusion on the "correct" direction on that last section. I'm always afraid on that last section I'm going to head-on someone right there at the end.
