This bike has a center port cylinder with factory reed valves. Also Marzocchi forks and laid down Ohlins shocks.

Sweet ride! I'm still scratching my head looking at the pipe going through the frame.

Might be for sale. From my research I have found the the center port reed valve bikes are very rare.

Here is a picture of a US production '75 CZ250 "Falta Replica."

cz250falta001 by xr75redline, on Flickr

Notice that the expansion chamber attaches to a side port flange on the cylinder.

In '75 Falta's "works" bike had a different frame design than the production bikes where the frame downtube and engine cradle joined. The CZ works bikes had center port exhaust engines with a high wishbone engine cradle that allowed the exhaust to go through the frame. The production '75 was the same outdated turd as the prehistoric '74 with some upgrades that made it look like the factory CZ's. They were still rude, crude and heavy. They had some neat upgrades, but it was too little and too late. The Jap's were determined to keep improving and the Commie's were behind the times. The Falta replicas are a beautiful piece of history and the ultimate CZ!

Gene's center port/reed valve bike is a sweet arse ride any way you look at it...!I'm no CZ guru. I don't know what it is. That's why I was scratching my head looking at a center port CZ.

Here's something that I ran across when I first started trying to make a deal on that Falta replica. http://www.vintageworksbikes.com/JaroslavFalta1974CZ.html
