Howdy folks,

I recently got a GoPro helmet cam. Whats the name of popular editing software you guys use on pc's? Cheap or free software would be great, dont need anything fancy just basic cut and splicing.

Thanks.

Nate

i use pinnicle studio. but it's not free. lets you cut crop video add fade in/out. you can add title pages and sound. it will auto adjust the video time to match the audio.

haven't looked yet but go to knowledgestorm to find good info on software free or purchase. let me know what you end up doing.

I use Magix Movie Edit Pro. It is great software, I used Pinnacle as well before and had problems, plus the cost is great. You can get the whole package for $89 and there is nothing extra to buy. Quite a few tips on Youtube as well for using it.

I've been using Vegas for a while now and I like it. My camera creates Quicktime HD video and Vegas will let me edit it.
