Mr.Walker,
Please email me privately at skullcreek@sbcglobal.net with your complete name.
If you have never been a member of TRH in your life you will be entitled to a free race but I need to verify this with membership. Thank you. Juliet

Race C - Class A,B,C & Beginners - will be 1.5 hours.
I hope that will suit everyone.
I apologize if I made it too long for some of you.
There is no Series Chairman these days so apart from some advice from Mark & Ed I am on my own here on this one.I have chaired TRH hare-scrambles when the club hosted races the STORM series but this is my first attempt at a Family Race.I am constrained a bit by the way the overall scoring works.

That being said, SOMEBODY in this club who is knowledgeable about enduros operate needs to step up & take the Series Chairman position. The guys who have been doing it for years have got burned out.If you feel insecure about taking it on,rest assured that they will help you get going. They have been a great help to me.
I also need people to start letting me know WHO can help & in WHICH race. Showing up at 9 am Sunday isn't going to be very helpful because we will be starting the Kids off & it is going to take a while to sort people out into marshal points since the main track covers 10 odd miles. Thanks! Julie

Juliet,

My family is really looking forward to riding your scramble this weekend and I'm sure you've put together an awesome course - thanks for all your hard work! I know how much time and effort you have put into this and we're going to have fun no matter what the rules, so don’t let the negative chatter talk you down.

For those of you with all these great ideas and suggestions on how to run a race, please step up and put on an event. I'd enjoy anything you can do to contribute to the success of our club. It takes a lot of preparation, time, and effort to coordinate these events and there is no way to make everyone happy.

Looking forward to some good food, cold beer, and awesome riding at the Creek!

You can please some of the people some of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time...

You've got a tuff job Juliet...and you shouldn't apologize!

i guess i'll move up to "B"...i'll be there Saturday before noon or maybe Friday night...i'll work when and where you need me.

if some feel 2 hours is too long or it's too hot...you end your race early...

...that being said i'll probably end up be passed out on the side of the trail from over exertion 1.5 ours into the race! LOL =P

cheers

We will be there, I can probably cover a road crossing or something. That will allow Annabelle to play next to the 4 wheeler and out of the way. What other positions would you think that I could help with? I will not be riding in any of the races.

Juliet, I agree that someone needs to step up. I believe you were at the meeting where I offered to co-chair Caney Creek and to co-chair a TRH event. That never grew legs for whatever reason. Like you, I need some guidance in putting it all together but have run enough races to have a good idea of how it all works. Since Kenzo seems to know so much about how these things should be run, I volunteer to put on the next event with him.

Wonderful!
TRH has been looking for someone to chair the next Enduro

Contact Danny Mac Millan & let him know you are interested in doing it.
