To comment on the C course:
This was only my third enduro, and I have only owned a bike for less than a year. I appreciated the slower sections in the course where I actually got to ride with friends on my row. Most of the time I never see them. I found the C Course to be challenging for my skill level. Last year I road in the Red river and it absolutely kicked my butt. The last 10 miles or so I was questioning why I was even doing this to myself, haha. I did get to meet some sweep riders though! I also rode cloudcroft last year and found some sections to be a little brutal. I enjoy riding and I am sure there are other riders at my level who appreciated the course. I got 7th in the open C with 51 points...and I promise they were not from coming in early! I was still sore five days after the race. I have seen things on other C courses that for my level would do nothing but break me or my bike, and I didn't find that fun. Some day maybe I can step up and ride with the big boys, but for now I appreciate being able to ride an enduro and not kill myself. Thanks for the fun event!
