Those darn Chinese knock off engineers are so smart. I was thinking of converting my Toyota Landcruiser to a two stroke diesel engine. I pulled the head off and replaced the valves with little tiny carbon fiber reeds (it looks tight!) The biggest problem I am having now is how to change the crankshaft timing. Do you think I can still use my stock exhaust or do you think I will have to install an expansion chamber? I was also thinking about adding a power valve, what would I use to actuate the linkage? I was thinking I could go to Pep Boys and get one of their manual choke knob kits and just adjust the power valve myself while driving. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are going to get a chinese bike get a coolster. You can get one for 400- 500 dollars and they are loads of fun. The coolsters are easy to maintain and are very easy to find parts for

I work on these and other chinese, I get bearings and seals locally. other parts come from Calif. this is where the the parts come to the U.S.A.
I also have a "very low hour" loncin (honda)motor 4 spd. on a motorcycle I got on trade for a repair if anyone needs. We have a atv my 2 kids have rode for 7 years its great it has survived several water trips without rebuild it keeps on going and going!! Just becareful some are totally "JUNK"!!!! If you want a small quad Polaris or Honda are good Yamaha has limited ground clearence and tires are too small.
