That is an AC-3 enduro computer from about 1982. Very easy to program but very low battery life. It had to be programed in the morning before the event to make it last to the end of the event.

I would say the ICO, but mine almost never shows me to be on time. It seems to be tied to my throttle somehow. :-)

ICO or Watchdog, depending on the support you can get from those you ride with. Either will work great and each event will have many people that can help you if you need it.

I still have my Countdown Combo, got it for my 15 th birthday. $109.95 plus shipping is what the box says. Lets see if I remember....ABABAABBABBAAA man it was complicated! never helped me go faster, just confused me more!

ICO does, in fact, still make and repair their units. They just stopped for a while and moved to Georgia. They are now up and running. You can find them on the web.

They service the latest Checkmate computers (the 2 models on their website) but they will not fix the older ones. I got that straight from Kerry Mc himself. Their new stuff is really cool and if the older models are any indicator, they will last forever.

Watchdog hands down.
Easy to use rugged and less expensive than most.
You can enter your info in any order you'ld like. Some of those others are less friendly.
Also marking the check and getting the 3 for free is pretty cool too. It's almost like cheating!!!
