Rekluse Motor Sports out of Idaho is bringing their roadshow to the next round of TORO - Race #906, Antelope Hills! They will set up in camp all weekend for everyone to check out their product and ask questions. Prior to our season start, Rekluse asked me to answer the following questions... my answers are in blue below.
Why is the TORO/Rekluse partnership working so well? Both TORO and Rekluse are dedicated to what they are doing for the racers and want the best for them. Both want to continually improve our product(s), delivery of it and provide top-notch customer service. Because we share this philosophy, working together comes very naturally.
What's new with TORO for 2010? We have a couple new and exciting properties to race on this season, which blend well with our goal to keep the tracks providing challenging terrain for our racers. They have nice elevation changes, rocky terrain through the woods and excellent opportunities to really push our racer’s talents.
What obstacles will the TORO courses bring to riders this season? The opener at Red River will have several “decision makers” for the racers. They can pick the difficult, shorter way and gain time on their competitors who make the decision to go the easier, longer way around. The price – if they do not make the challenge, they could lose more time than they would have gained. This allows the more technically trained and advanced riders the ability to utilize their skills to gain advantage over their competitors. It also allows racers without that type of experience to challenge them to step up and increase their level of riding. TORO racers will see this type of setup at several of the events this season.
I heard Patrick always bums a beer when the TORO crowd attends EnduroCross - Guthrie, can your confirm this? We are always sure to have a “Cooler of Love” for Patrick in Guthrie.
Rekluse has a diverse support program for TORO participants, do you think Rekluse would bring their Roadshow to a TORO race this season? Do I think they would or do I think they SHOULD? YES THEY SHOULD!
