brake chripping? what is that?

It squeaks every time the wheel spins. I think one of the ears on those aftermarket hubs may be tweaked. I put a brand new brake rotor on it and there was no change. I'm going to have to take a closer look at it.

did you change the pads when you changed the rotor? If it were bent the pads wouldnt be worn evenly. I doubt the hub is tweaked.

Yeah, everything is new. I'll look at it when I get a chance, the bike is buried beneath a growing mountain of toddler toys, a computer desk and a lawn mower... pathetic - I know.

Rev it higher, the squeak will go away. Bearings?, I know you don't grease anything.

I GREASE EVERYTHING!... Just not that often...
