If anyone has wondered why rider-training classes are expensive and not affordable for many this due to track owners being greedy. As a trainer I am bringing students to a OPEN practice who are paying the track fee's to ride on a scheduled practice day. When a trainer works with a student he teaches them to be safer and fundamentally smart so there will be less of a chance for injury. To me this should be priceless to a track owner... I received an email from a track owner yesterday that I would like to share with everyone. Feel free to reply.
No disucussion....here is the deal. You never contacted me to pre-approve this so you f*cked up. You put me in a bad spot and I don't appreciate it. We generally use our Saturdays for prepping and maintenance so I do not want anyone on the facility while we are working. Also, if you are going to have a 2 day class i want my cut. I generally charge $500 for such an event and we operate in our usual manner. I have the same deal with Larry Morton. I have been very lenient to this point with you on your training sessions on Wednesday's and Sundays but you cannot assume a 2 day event without having direct contact with me. Chris and I will get together and
discuss this 2 day class of yours but as of right now I would consider finding another track for that weekend.
