As we begin our season, I always like to remind ALL racers, guests, parents, etc., (PEE WEE AND BIG TRACK) of our rules regarding sportsmanship.
3. Unsportsmanlike Conduct. Verbal and physical abuse
between riders and/or crew members will not be
tolerated. While a certain amount of rubbing is
expected in racing, intentionally attempting to harm
another rider by ramming, t-boning, or any other
takeout move is unacceptable. This includes any act
that may put a competing rider in undue danger (i.e., pit
vehicles crossing the track in front of a racer or anything
that could cause the racer harm). Any such conduct will
result in immediate disqualification from the event. If a
rider is involved in such behavior on a second occasion,
all points earned to-date will be lost. If there is yet a
third occurrence, the rider will be removed from the
series altogether. Racers are responsible for their
families and guests.
The start area is a NO CROSSING ZONE until ALL LINES leave the start area and the ALL CLEAR is given. If you do not follow this and you or your guest crosses the starting line while lines are still waiting to go, you will be issued a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty (1st offense = DQ)
If you experience any of this while racing:
Verbal and physical abuse
between riders and/or crew members will not be
tolerated. While a certain amount of rubbing is

The ONLY course of action to take is to come talk to me or one of the other BODs
http://www.race-toro.org/staff.htm and tell us about it. We will take action regardless of if you have two TORO member witnesses or not - we will speak to the other rider and get answers. You are welcome to vent your concerns or anger to me all you want, but YOU ARE NOT to take matters into your own hands.
In the tight areas of the course you need to be patient while making passes. Yelling, cussing, ramming, etc., is NOT being patient and IS NOT ACCEPTABLE... THIS INCLUDES when you encounter slower lap traffic.
If you can not respect other racers and show good sportsmanship, we do not want you at TORO.
Thank you!
Jenn
