TORO Membership Registration works like this:

I will accept new member registration paid online up until Thursday at 5:00pm prior to a race weekend. I will stop by our post office Thursday evening and pick up all the remaining checks and all will be processed. The online registration piece will not be active from Thursday at 5:00pm before each race weekend until Monday morning at 9:00am after each race weekend.

If you do not pay online or I do not receive your check prior to Thursday before the race weekend, you will not be processed in time to receive the $20 membership. You are welcome to still come out and race, but your membership fee will be $50.

These deadlines are necessary in order to give me enough time to process everything and download all of the data to our scoring software prior to heading out to the track.

If you will be racing any or all of the TORO events, it is best to just take a minute and get your member registration done to save $30!

If I register after the first race (can't make it), but before the 2nd race, can I still receive the online registration discount, or should I register now?

I will open the online registration back up Monday morning after each race weekend and YES you will receive the discount for using it and paying in advance of the race you attend.

Although I am VERY touched by all the love you all are showing TORO in these late hours prior to our opener this weekend, I HIGHLY encourage those of you e-mailing me, phoning me, ect., to check the following resources on our website for answers to your questions. If you still do not find it, then either e-mail me at jenn@race-toro.org or call me at 214-418-8952. If you do not leave a message, you will not get a call back.

I am VERY busy at my paying job. I will get EVERYONE that signs up and PAYS before Thursday at 5:00pm registered. It may not happen until late Thursday night or early into the morning on Friday, but you will get you race number before the weekend.

At this point - it is too late to mail a check to our PO Box and have it reach us in time. I will check the box on my way home from work tomorrow and process all in it before I leave for the event Friday.

No - you may not bring me money to my home... I have MANY things to get done and will not be there to meet you.

When doing the Google payment option, I encourage you to have ALL your payment information ready to fill out prior to going online to sign up. Computers tend to timeout if you let them sit too long while filling out the information. If you don't get it to work the first time - try again and follow the instructions EXACTLY as they say.

P.S.: A helpful hint: ALL rules in our handbook apply to ALL people. Example: If it says "You must be a TORO member to practice and to race." - it means... YOU MUST BE A TORO MEMBER TO PRACTICE AND TO RACE.

A reminder on this - 5:00pm today - online registration will close. All others who want to race at Bulcher this weekend - just come on out and sign up at the TORO trailer Saturday from 9am-2pm.

I've had a few questions about numbers. This late in the game - you will need to take care of numbering your bike... buy numbers at a shop, get some out at the race from Bad Boyz Racing (will be parked near Big Hal) or bring some white duct tape or white shelf paper and a big black marker.

I will have some white shelf and markers in the trailer for you to use, as well.

Your bike MUST have your race number on ALL THREE PLATES prior to racing. Penalty:DQ

We use electronic scoring http://www.race-toro.org/Documents/HowToMountTransponder.pdf with a manual backup system. Our staff is in the trailer manually writing down all of the racers in the order they come through the chute each race... SO PLEASE... make sure they can read your numbers easily from a distance.
