http://vimeo.com/5904168 I attended the Freedom Concert 2009 last night in Grand Prairie, and it was a lot of fun and very moving at times.
All I took was my Canon G9. The light was typical concert lighting which means it was bad for a basic P&S setup. I was very impressed with the quality of the low light video however. (The first 30 seconds are a little shakey, but it's fine after that.)
Performers were Lee Greenwood, Charlie Daniels, Michael W. Smith and Billy Ray Cyrus as well as several speakers and guests (Sean Hannity, Lt. Col. Oliver North, Gov. Rick Perry, Congressman Sam Johnson, Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison and several veterans).
The night was to raise money for the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund which provides college scholarships to the children of veterans killed or permenantly disabled while on active duty military assignment. There are still concerts coming up around the country. Check out

One of the most moving parts of the night was when 2 injured soldiers were brought up on stage during the performance of "Some Gave All" by Billy Ray Cyrus. Here's a clip from that part of the concert:
