My ama comment was just an example of a routine entry getting out of hand with multiple entires in a family.

The AMA has an associate membership for 15 bucks (I think) but that does most of us no good, you have to pay a full membership to race. So for me to register 3 kids and myself its 160 bucks each year.
1 of them races a lot with me and 2 of them only race 1 or 2 races. Another shame is the wasted paper since we get 4 copies of the AMA magizine all to the same address - the AMA could save that cost for households like mine and maybe give us few bucks break there for the families with multiple racers.

TSCEC discounts for kids start looking pretty good for some of us -

The AMA refuses to go with a "One day" membership.
I even went through all the hassle of setting it up for the Gator Bait enduro, only to be shot down for the Caney Creek enduro.

Bottom line: It's not worth putting on an event for 135 riders. People will always make excuses not to attend an event.When the event disappears, they will be left scratching their heads.

I guess we will just have to live with the AMA membership fee then.
I'll be there Girard, AMA or no AMA.
