Thats because people had to ride more than one class to get enough riding in, which ended up costing them more money. More riding for less at TCCRA.

You can't get enough riding in 4 hrs? I personally like the tracks, not so tore up, myself. That would have been really bad at Bridgeport! Also getting to go home at a descent time on Sunday is well worth it. People can run alot more classes here, no doubt, not for just practice time, but for points. I seriously doubt that it was a "have to", unless you can't make it there early Saturday morning. Thats just great marketing.

It was 240 racers more to be exact. WOOHOO! Go Curtis and Crew!

I have to agree with dirtburner 100%. I had all the riding I could handle on Saturday. I only rode on Sunday because I wanted to see what class was better for me. That way I know where I need to be for the rest of the year. Well that was the plan any ways, but I loved it so much I will ride two classes all year.

Sounds like somebody might be a little jelious. You don't have to tell that story any more Joe .I was there you couldn't hardly get anonther camper in the parking lot.Or you could ask Big Hal which race he sold the most burgers at .either way the chase is on .

No jealousy here. Nothing to be jealous about. Just stating that the numbers are probably higher from double entries. Ya'll have fun on your short one lined tracks. Definately far from any national calibur tracks i have ever been to. The name still cracks me up. National series only in texas. haha

COME ON TORN PEOPLE - WE DO NOT NEED TO DISCUSS WHICH SERIES IS BETTER. I WAS HOPING THAT THIS WOULD NOT BE BROUGHT UP ON THIS FORUM.

After watching the video and seeing the TORN riders struggle to get up an open sand hill, you guys would have wet your pants when faced with a few of the hill climbs at the first TCCRA race. A lot steeper with roots, rocks, and trees!

Where was that race anyway, a landfill?? There were very few trees..not to mention all of the tires and junk laying around!
