I'm going to be in Bend, somewhere outside of Lampasses and San Saba the first week in March and was wondering where I could find some single track to ride my KTM.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

about the only dirt bike riding anywhere close to Bend would be Boulder Creek which is about 7 miles east of Marble Falls.

go back into Lampasas and take a right on hwy 281 and go 22 miles thru Burnet, continue on 281 another 14 miles to Marble Falls. take a left on FM 1431 and go about 7 miles... Boulder Creek will be on your left (north) before you get to Smithwick.

there really aren't any open riding areas in the immediate area, all privately owned ranches...

Boulder Creek has a forum further down the main list and also have a website giving more details.

I've been in and out of Bend/ Sulfur springs/ Gorman Falls/ Bearfoot for many years.
I never found a place that would let us ride. We took our 4 wheelers to play in the sand
at Sulfur springs until the rednecks started getting their truck stuck and the owners had
to put them out with a tractor time after time. They (owner) started charging them for
their stupidedy (is that spelled right??) but they keep comming so he stoped all 4x4'ing
