Welcome to the TSCEC forum on the Texas Offroad Network!

The TSCEC is a non-profit sanctioning body for three annual series of enduros held in Texas and the surrounding states. Our purpose is to promote the sport of enduros and off-road riding. To accomplish this purpose, we establish rules, maintain standings, and provide end of year awards in three divisions: Championship, High Plains, and Sabine.

The TSCEC has been sanctioning events for 28 years. Enduro racing in Texas began much earlier however. According to Marvin Youngblood, a TSCEC Hall of Fame member and enduro legend, enduro racing dates back many years before Roy Pool of Euless organized several clubs across the state into the circuit we enjoy today.

Enduro participants are a special breed of offroad rider. Yes we enjoy riding our carefully prepared bikes through the woods at high speed. We also like trail riding through some of the most beautiful areas of country. We prefer to ride for four or five hours at a time. We also challenge ourselves by adding the complexity of timekeeping to our events. Its not enough to just ride fast. You have to ride while thinking about the rest of the game that presents the true test.

If you have enjoyed enduros before or if you have never tried one, give us a chance to show you what you've been missing. You won't be disappointed. We have a class for everyone and will gladly show you the ropes if necessary.

Enjoy this forum! Bobby Beamer has done a tremendous service in allowing the offroad goups in Texas a common place to meet, exchange ideas and information, and work together for the future. We look forward to your suggestions, questions, and thoughts. It is simple to get started using this board. Just add yourself as new user and post away. The various moderators will help keep things in the right place and in line. You really can't make a mistake except to not participate.

Finally, be sure to stop by our website for that latest circuit information including event flyers, race results, and season standings.

Thanks Bud,

I'm glad to see ya' made it online with us and we....hey, I guess that includes all of you too now, huh?.....are hoping your members will find these forums useful. That's what this website is all about, so use it. Do whatever you guys want to do here. We've set up this forum for the TSCEC to use for TSCEC members....you can post news, info, plan outings, trail rides, arrange meetings for travleing to events in groups, or just shoot the chit.

And there are a whole selection of different forums here to tickle your fancy. If you want Family Style we got it....Kids forums....Classifieds....the Texas Roadhouse....Environmental...and there's alot more coming. If you don't see it, ask for it, we'll set it up....really...no problem!

This website was really special built for groups like the TSCEC. You don't need to be at home to access info or get reports or read posts from other members. You can access the forums here from anywhere, anytime.....so use it as a way for guys in one place to communicate with guys on the road or guys scoutin' out things in another area of the state.

We also offer special "private" forums which we can set up as "TSCEC members only"....or Officers only....and other TON members can't even see it...it's totally invisible to anyone who's not given access to it! Any group of members, or team of riders, can have a private forum....we don't restrict who we set it up for, we just want you guys to do whatever works for ya'.

Soon, we'll have the "subscription" package set up and members will be able to subscribe to the forums they want....just like a mailing list...and receive all the posts compiled into a single daily or weekly email.

It's about time we all got a site like this....and a setup like this. All of us here at T.O.N. - all the volunteer staff of webmasters and officers from clubs all over Texas - are proud to have the chance to offer this to the TSCEC and if ya' don't use after all the hard work we went through puttin' it together, we're gonna' ride ya' down and kick your tailpipe.

Now, quit hangin' out here readin' this garbage and go post something!

Trust me on this, I'm an expert - "Life is hard, but it's harder when you're stupid!"....Bobby
