trace, nice footage! Still, IMO, it doesn't show the true nature of the place. I've put it two years now at City Park, and although I've got the lines down, there are two spots that I just cannot seem to clear on an MX bike. I've since stopped riding the KTM 125 and switched over to a KX100 and just by doing so, I've overcome those two gnarly spots, but barely. On a trials bike, however, it's super easy, but w/out a seat on that bike, doing a full loop puts a strain on my back when I'm not in shape.

btw..., did you get a trials bike ?

Hey Dao!
I agree, it is tougher than it looks. I still haven't caught a deal on a trials bike, but I keep an eye out all the time. I think I'm pretty spoiled for a seat too, though.

Great video Trace. Even though the video flattens it out you can still see how hard that trail is on a bike.

It was nice to see the yellow ribbon we put up for the loop markings for the trials event this weekend (2/16-2/17).

I've been riding my KTM there for the past two weekends while I had my trials bike apart and that loop is WAY harder on a regular dirt bike. It's all very ridable on the trials bike, except for the back issues Dao mentioned if you aren't used to standing all the time.

There will be some much-needed improvements coming to City Park in the future. We're trying to get some of that Texas sticker money for safety improvements. All that will start to gather momentum after our event. We'll make sure you and Cameron are in the loop, Trace.

Oh yeah, I don't know if it is on the video, but sorry for running over the white tape on the ground towards the end. It kinda popped up in the trail suddenly, and we would've put it back if we tore it up, but it looked ok.

I am totally down for helping out with the trail maintenance, and can bring tools too.

Don't worry about the tape. It's close to the ground so you can run over it.

I'm looking forward to making that loop better.
