I have a 1977 Jeep Cherokee Chief with Dana 44's, 360 V8, turbo 400, pretty much stock. I want to add 4" lift and 35's on 10" rims. I can do it thru a mailorder but would prefer do go thru a shop. Does anyone know of a good shop to deal with? I would like to support a local shop if possible and don't mind a bit of a drive.

Sorry, didn't think. Live in Clute area. Close to Lake Jackson and just north of Freeport. Around 50 miles south of Houston.

I don't think you'd want to drive all the way up to DFW. One of those SHR or SUAW guys need to stop by and help you out. Be patient they'll be here soon.

Here's what I found out for you........ there are shops in and around H town. If you want the best you need "The Shop Off Road" in League City, just south of "the big city".
