I'm looking into getting a nicer(not cheap Chinese rip-off) 125cc pit bike, and im seeing allot of "pitster", "coolster", and "sikk mx" bikes for only about $500 to $800. So I was wondering if that is because these aren't good bikes.
It would only be used as a bike to ride in the back yard, pit bike, not racing.
But, if you have any info on these bikes or the upkeep , could you feel me in.

Thanks,
Rush

Well I dont know much about pit bikes, but how does this look.
I'm also looking at price though, considering it wont be for racing.
So if you could, tell me how this deal sounds, and what the bike looks like to you.
Heres a link to who Ive been talking to's bike's up for sale.
So take a look if you could and tell me what you think.

not a name brand but look to have ok components on it. if your just messing around they'll probably be fine( if your buying both). but once you start to race them you will find out (as i have) that the suspension probably needs to be upgraded... if i had the $$$ id go for it to put around on but if i was goint to race id look into the pricier pitster X-4 or x-4r... or better yet buy a hopped up KLX/DRZ such as this one...

I have been racing these things for about 3 years. i have never seen a good deal out of these cheap ones. Not to say this one is bad, but parts break. Availiblility of parts is ALWAYS an issue. I haver a hopped up Honda for sale, but it is not $800 either. If you are interesteds I will pm you the parts list and price. I have two to choose from.

Well thanks for the offer, just dont have the money for anything better right now, and our plan is to keep em' for 6 months or so, then sell again and make money off it.
So i think we won't have a problem with it getting hurt.
But im pretty sure were gonna get these, considering price and re-sale, thanks for the info though, helped me decide.
