...I was going to place the ac unit inside the tent with the exhaust stuck through the door opening while it set in a hot water heater pan....

why would you need to heat "hot water"??? if its hot, it's already heated ... it's called a "water heater"

hot water PAN ........
The condensation cought in the pan could be routed through a water hose away from the door so that
anyone not paying attention would not track any mud that may or may not be there to track in. Just a thought
Not that anyone must take anything I say or do as the gospel. Infact doing so could result in something bad...
like a devorce or something worse.......

AS my farther would say....Do as you want,,,not as I do.....

we're gettin' into hot water now! .......
I like the pan idea ....
also looking into the yamaha 2400 generator,
l like it better than the honda 2k unit.
no, it's not a blue vs red thing,
but the yamaha will run at 2000 vs 1600 sustained
and 2400 vs 2000 peak
and I think that will work out better all around for me.
now just got to fit into my wish list somewhere!
got those dang taxes to take care of first .......

look at the pic and see the hose at the bottom of the unit. we dig a small hole and put the hose in it, no more mud.
