Want everyone to keep Marcus Kelly in your thoughts as he is going under the knife for back surgery again.

Marcus is one of those people that is ALWAYS there to help us in anyway he can.

Again I ask for a few more prayers....

Tomorrow we say good bye to Ross Goodwin, my father in law.

Ross was one of us. He rode the enduros in the early '70s as member of the Capital Cats.

He shared his passion for riding with his daugthers, who still love to ride.

I'll miss him dearly.

God Speed Ross....

so sad,

doug

thanks Larry and others for the thoughts & prayers!!!

surgery went well (L4/L5 and L5/S1 microdiscetomy) on Friday and I am hopefully on the mend. They told me day 2 & 3 would be the toughest, and boy was that an understatement!!! I should be back out n about in a week to so, but off a bike considerably longer.

Here is the memorial Website for Jeffrey Craig Robertson. He passed away after a tragic motorcycle accident at Crosscreek Cycle Park, Saturday, March 21, 2009. A few people have asked if I was there, knew him, or knew any more information.
Below is what we have learned from the family and friends.

Jeffrey Craig Robertson Legacy Memorial Websites. Find out more...

Sorry to share this sad news, but I hope you'll find a prayer in your heart for the family.

Keep Clayton Walther in your prayers! He had a serious crash on the street riding his WR. He was on a rural road and a large dog ran in front of his front wheel, he hit the dog and lost control. Fortunately, the dog did not eat him, someone found him and called 911. They stabilized him and took him to the trauma unit.

He snapped his leg, broke both his right tib and fib below his knee, broke 2 ribs (1 displaced), broke his shoulder blade, and the big toe even though he was wearing steel toed boots. He now has a 11mm rod in his tib + screws. Other than that he is O.K. ...... except that he has to learn how to walk all over again.

Fortunately, he was wearing LOTS of protective riding gear including a full face helmet, otherwise he would no longer be with us.

Clayton, glad you are still with us. Hang in there and let us know if you need anything from your AMSA family?

Hey Doug. I'm alive and well and healing slowly. Its been 2 months since my street crash. I'm still on crutches and wheelchair. Healing a broken leg is slow given the seriousness of the injury. The Tib takes 4-6 months to heal according to my doctor. The ribs and shoulderblade are all good now. I'm hoping to get around alot better in November. The downside is I'll be missing out on some awesome fall riding but hopefully will be back on 2 wheels (off-road wise) next spring. Thanks for everyone's prayers and well wishes. They are working. See ya'll on the trail in 2013.
