Some of the weathermen have pushed the rain into saturday. We might get a mud race. Who likes that idea? It will be perfect for sunday.

i'll wait and see. Sometimes they say it is going to rain and then it just sprinkles. Cuts the dust that would make it pretty good. I am wondering how the track is looking right now. It there a lot of water holes?

Thanks

I can't wait to see the truck and tractor pulls..
This weekend is going to be a blast.
I'm so excited, I might have to skip work on Friday.
Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!!!

I like to see turtles floating in mud and water.

Being that Village Creek is a motocross park they may have a different outlook on the possibility of a mud race. I doubt they will be as a excited as some of you appear to be, and may be a little quicker to cancel.

Yeah I dont think they want to trash the parking lot out with 14 ft ruts.. But I know Curtis will smooth it all out later I just hope we can go on with it..

If you haven't been to village in a while then you haven't seen the work they have done in the parking area. they kinda filled in the groove that used to hold all the water in the middle and planted some trees.

I'm sure though that the lot will hold and they have the equipment to repair any ruts in the parking area.

I'm thinking we'll have to see just how close the rain comes and if it's on sat or sun.

Good luck and see ya at the races!

Yeah, but remember that next weekend is a Loretta Lynns quailifer so who knows what Terry is thinking. So is anyone going to race the qualifier? Does any of the local TCCRA, TORO, TORN hot shoes try for the big dance?

I agree! Melody,Norma and I still laugh about the toro/bowie mud race last year. We stayed together and helped each other through.

They don't have an open class at LL. See you there and good luck in the stock class. Does anyone know if Cheyene Harmon is racing?

In the Tx Winter Series, Village did a very good job on the track(mx). They had it prepped smoothed and packed before the rain hit. The track came in nicely after some riding.
