Hey Guys, I need just a little help.
Cheryl's Blaster, I rebuilt the top end last night, all went well.
Though, there is a nipple on the right side of the Engine Crankcase, just to the right of
the cylinder that looks like a hose connection. It Just to the right and almost under the intake
where the reed cage fit onto the cylinder. It looks like it goes into the bottom end.
There was not a hose there at all or a cover stop or anything.

I have tried ever diagram and schematic I can think of to see what this is for, do I put a hose on it to vent out the bottom and back? Do I cover and seal it? I cannot see any other connection it might go to
on the card or any other part of the engine.
Of course the crappy little Owners Manuel doesn't show us anything.
Bike Bandits Diagrams don't show it, or Ronnies, Or Yamaha site!

Any Ideas??????

Pretty sure it is just a vent hose. I had an '84 IT-200 which was the same engine minus the oil injection system. Is your injection system still on the bike. Some people would remove them and premix the gas and oil. If yours was removed and you have to pre-mix then I might be worried that it could be the inlet for the oil-injection line. It would allow crazy amounts of air in and lean out your engine and damage it. If your injection system is all together and working properly then I would guess it's just a vent like you said.
