Maybe at the first of the year is what I'm hearing. And, yes, I am talking to myself on this board.

It was nice to meet you at the park on Sunday Nate.

Maybe I need to put an old rear tire on my 300 and bring it out there one day. Would hate to tear up a good S12 on all those rocks.

There were at least five regular dirt bikes out there this weekend. You and the guy on the KLX, two guys on two-stroke bikes, and a guy on a nice looking XR650R. It's still about 75% mountain bikers though. Of course, sometimes I'm in that group too so I get counted twice!

It was good to meet you as well. Let me know when you want to bring your 300 out and I'll try to meet you there.

I would have liked to see the big XR out there!

i have two teens that want to give it a try. I have warned them that mtn. bike riders lurk around every turn, so it may be all first gear riding. is this accurate?

Mountain Bikers are not an issue. They can hear you coming and are generally good about getting out of the way.

There is some first gear riding due to the terrain.

Mountain bikers or not, you will probably not spend much time past first gear very often even if you are experienced. May even factor in some neutral gearing on occasion if some of the ledges have their way.

I was out there about 2 months ago soI need to take another skip out there soon.
