I just spoke to Girard, and he confirmed that TRH will NOT attempt to put on the Caney Creek Enduro this weekend, October 2. Instead, the rescheduled date will be October 16.

As with all schedule changes, the new date will cause hardships for some, but there are only so many weekends in a year. Keep in mind that this club and this riding area just went through a friggin' HURRICANE! Let's be thankful that we're even able to have the event at all, and that our friends are safe and able to return to their homes.

Girard also said he would post later today with information for those who pre-entered and can't make the rescheduled date.

Arrrghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

This conflicts with the first TORO race of the season!!! Decisions decisions....too many races....too little time!!!

I am thankful this event is taking place but I really wanted to participate.

Thank you so much for the early information. It is probably a good call to hold off until the 16th. It will give all of those affected by the hurricane time to get things back in order. Hopefully everyone came through unscathed. We appreciate all you are doing TRH, sorry for the unfortunate events. Will see you in October!!

We have rescheduled the Caney Creek Enduro for October 16th '05 .
No one likes to reschedule an event, but that's life on the Gulf Coast.

A lot of TRH members are regrouping from the hurricane and won't be able to help with the event.
There are a lot of branches etc on the trail that need to be cleaned up.

We are giving refunds to those that cannot make the new date.
Your name will be removed from the pre-entry list.
If you decide you can make the new date after the refund is made, you will not regain your reserved row #.

The new pre-entry cut off date will be Oct 9th.
Riders already pre-entered will retain their original row assignment.

Thanks for everyone's understanding.

They are very good at camouflage!

You will need to clean your shorts when you realize one of them is standing beside you & then see their arrow in our arrow.

They get their limit after the first few rows & go home.

Hmmm maybe I need to re-think the whole early row philosophy!

Just wear your chain mail chest protector. No problem. And if you see a "tree" moving....RUN IT OVER!
