So let me get this straight. You raced a bike that you only rode once, in practice the day before, had to stop for gas, and won your race? I guess I could believe that if the bike were red, but a green one (just kidding DP).

So once again, thanks to Darren Porter 199 for keeping a spare bike laying around. How many people have ridden that bike this year? I think Darren is embarking on a new business, race bike rental.

i don't know if he helped you but Steve Rife (642) pitted for about 10 different riders. he sat this one out and was camped right by the pits. of course the rest of us just drank beer and pointed out where he needed to be. a few times we added in comments as to where he needed improvement. he inlightened us with a few comments of where we needed to be, or i mean go...

I do need to that James Dickey and Gabriel for helping me in the pits. I know their were a couple of other people but I don't know their names, but thanks a mill.

Dave you ready to go green on the proven winner bike ? Well at least you have won on it.

Don't sell yourself short. You did a GREAT job of pointing where I needed to be to help the next rider. I couldn't have done it without you and the rest of the guys cheering me on while they were drinking your beer and sitting on their a$$es. jk!

I enjoyed the time with you all of you in the pits. I'm sorry you couldn't finish this race. Maybe next time the little one will let you get some sleep the night before. Thanks again for the beer and the conversation.
