We are mostly 4x4's however a few members also have quads and bikes. Off-road is off-road right! When I had the idea for this club I saw a large club with main officers and having chairmans for the different classes of vehicles. I myself am a 4x4 guy but I dont want that to hold back anybody from enjoying the sport of off-roading because they dont use the same type of vehicle as I. Our club is almost a year old so we are still fairly new. If you know of anybody else in the Big County area that are quad/dirt bike folks we would love to appoint a chairman for that area of interest and incorprate yall into the club. I have had a hard time finding folks that either have the time or drive to initiate something like we did with the 4x4 side. You can respond with any ideas, thoughts or comments here or feel free to e-mail me at mahana79@taylortel.net Thanks,

hey Justin,
This is Don. I also ride quads and would like to join in on this as well. Just let me know what i need to do and what all I can do to help. You know when i had the toyota i was always going out and getting prospects and helping out with the club as much as i could. I didn't know you were wanting to bring bikes/quads into this as well. Also, i dont think i'm on the distro e-mail list anymore. I havn't been getting anymore e-mails about upcoming events and whathave ya. Could you check on that for me as well. if you need someone to head up the quad/bike part of it. I'll be more then glad to do what i can to make it a good one. Just get ahold of me and let me know what you want me to do. I also sent you an e-mail about catching up with you on Thursday of this week at the FTD building. Shoot me an e-mail back tomorrow if you can and i'll check it when i get to work on mids tomorrow night. Keep me posted on what ya'll decide.
Thanks man, MuddDawg

Well, I talked it over with the Vice-President and it looks like MudDawg aka Don Frazier will the head rep for our quad and dirt bike folks. We will discuss his actual workings of this portion of our club. We are trying to decide if we want to modify the current bi-laws, or just make an amendment and add specifics for ATV's, and make a new waiver form. More to come...

I'm here in Abilene and ride dirt and play in the 4x4 a bit. I'd be interested in any activity, especially the ATV/bike scene.

Xo your rig Just kiddin. There are several places around the abilene area that allow ATV's along with 4X4's. They are mainly around the 2 lakes (Scratch that/ PONDS) we have. San Angelo (Twin Buttes) May allow ATV's but I am not 100% positive. I am not sure of the places around your neck of the woods. In reply to:
