I am getting a lot of complaints about fast 60cc C class riders. Problem we have is no one wants to ride the A class. If you parents, and you know who your are, can not see the problem, then we will be forced to move these kids up. If we can not get enough C riders to move up to A and the A stays small, the we will be forced to make this just one class. No more A and C classes. Please help us out.

Herb,

I am moving my son up on to the A class on the next race just so he can get a 60 second head start on the C's. Even though he's not quite up to speed to "place" with the A riders yet, I believe it will make him an even better rider. I surely wasn't going to bring this up cause we're totally in it for fun, but thanks for taking the lead on this issue.

Why is there no bumping in the C class? My son just got his first KX60 and there is no way that he can keep up w/ the majority of the "C" riders even though he can hold his own in the 50 class. It is a very big step to go from a 50 to a 60 and it seems to me,while observing the 60 A and C classes that there is not much of a difference between the front running C riders and the few A riders. The C class needs to be for real Beginners, not just for kids looking to enlarge their trophy case.

So a child's first year in the 60cc C class if they are up front should be bumped. After 1 year in the class if they are up front then move. Just my 1/2 a penny.

Jeff, it's not just the kids. Check out the lap times of the adult C riders, some are faster than the B riders. Let's see D's are faster than C's, etc. etc. Isn't there a rule or something on this???

Oh yeah,I definately have an opinion on what I would do about the "D" class if I were running the show, but I will not go there. The point is that there is No mandatory bumping in the 60 C class. It is quite a shock for a true beginner to compete w/ some of the current C riders-those kids rip!

Darren, here is another 1/2 cent worth to make it a full penny..........why should a kid automatically be able to ride the "C" class just because he/she is new to the series? What about "new" riders that have been racing MX for a couple of years? Why not just give them a trophy at sign up and move them to a proper class. I don't have any kids racing so I figure I'm unbiased, but I feel for the nervous beginners that have to ride with way more experienced racers.
